Playing Conditions

Each team consists of minimum 15 players and maximum 22 players for the season to start with and a mid season window will be open from 1st December to 7th December. A maximum of 3 players can be added per team during the open window period.

Captains shall provide a list of the playing 11 before the toss in writing or in the CricHeroes app and handover to the umpires before a toss. No players may be changed after the toss.

Clubs must play in the ground provided by the NCAA where the NCAA holds the exclusive rights to make a decision.

Should a team be unable to field or bat with eight or more players then the game will be forfeited and the opposition team will be declared a winner.

If the fielding team is unable to finish their innings in the allocated hundred minutes, the following rules apply:

Each team will/may play at least one match against the other teams of the same group and some teams may play 2 times to each other on a league basis in either division. The top 4 teams of grade A will play a playoff match while top 8 in Grade B will play quarter final matches.

One player must be inside 30 yards in every seven minutes with the minimum 2 fielders outside the 30 yard.

Any players taking drinks onto the field shall be dressed in proper attire.

If volunteers do not turn up in time, the home team must run the game. In such cases the next batters or nominated player from Home team will perform the role of a leg umpire and scorer in order to run the game.

Teams that are not qualified for the knockout games are responsible for officiating all the knockout games. The penalty applies as per the playing conditions if any team is absent for their duties.

If the score is tied in the knockout round, the result will be decided by the super over. If there is no result even after the super over game, super over will continue till the one team is the winner. (Players participated in the 1st super over will not be allowed to participate in the second and so on so forth there onwards till the outcome of the game is finalized)

The finalist of the grade B will automatically promote to Grade A for next season and bottom two teams from the league table in Grade A will automatically relegate to Grade B.

Drinks break must be on the field. All players must remain on the field during drinks break. Consultation with the umpire to get off the field for any reason is the must.

Leg Umpire–must avoid the use of mobile phones while in the field. (unless leg umpire is scoring in the app)

Officials, scorers and players are strictly prohibited to drink any form of alcohol while active in the game.

Any unnecessary discussion with umpires will be a subject to the following action:

• Immediately ask the player to leave the field, (subject to disciplinary action to impose further ban to be advised based on the umpire's report which will be accessed by the NCAA disciplinary team).
• No players except the playing squad and the 12th man are allowed to enter the ground during the game time
• Any player who enters the ground without the consent of the umpires while not in the playing squad will face disciplinary action.

To continue a match, a minimum of 5 overs must be bowled to the team batting second. (refer to DLRS CricHeroes rules) To apply DLS rule, 5 overs must be bowled in the second innings.

An individual player may be given a drink either on the boundary edge or at the fall of wicket on the field provided that no playing time is wasted. No other drinks shall be taken onto the field without the permission of the umpires.

The leading performances, including the top wicket-takers, best batters, and Most Valuable Players, will be evaluated up to and including the final game.

If adverse conditions arise that hinder the completion of the final game, it will be rescheduled until a conclusion is reached.
